<서울디자인>은 최신의 디자인 트렌드를 발신하고, 새로운 디자인 런칭 제품을 선보이는 플랫폼으로 매년 사회적 이슈가 반영된 주제를 선정하고 K-디자인 트렌드를 선도하는 국내외 대표 기업과 디자이너, 소상공인, 청년과 함께 논하는 장으로 역할 하여 도시의 미래 가치를 높여나갈 것입니다.
<서울디자인>에서는 매년 사회적 이슈와 최신의 디자인 트렌드가 반영된 <주제전>과 <기업 파빌리온 및 팝업>, 소상공인과 디자이너의 만남을 통해 개발된 신제품을 선보이는 <DDP 디자인론칭페어>, 기업과 영디자이너가 협업하여 개발한 신제품과 브랜드를 선보이는 <기업+영디자이너 브랜드전>등의 전시를 선보이며, 그 외에도 국내외 유명 인사와 함께 미래 디자인 트렌드를 제시하는 <서울디자인 컨퍼런스>, 시민과 함께 즐기고 공유하는 <디자인 마켓>등 다양한 이벤트를 선보이고 있습니다.
나아가 서울디자인재단은 <서울디자인>을 통해 DDP를 중심으로 서울 전역의 <서울디자인스폿>을 더욱 확장하여 서울 전역에서 K-디자인을 경험하게 함으로써 서울이 세계도시로 거듭나고 활발한 디자인 비즈니스를 통해 디자인산업과 경제 활성화에 도움이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것입니다.
The representative design festival of Seoul, "Seoul Design," which has gained popularity and enthusiastic participation from citizens, has recently reopened, celebrating its 9th anniversary with enhanced professionalism and quality of the event, along with an expanded scale and duration.
"Seoul Design" serves as a platform for showcasing the latest design trends and introducing launched products with new design. It aims to enhance the future value of the city by selecting themes that reflect social issues every year and fostering discussions among domestic and international leading companies, designers, small business owners, and youth leading the K-design trend.
At "Seoul Design," various exhibitions and events are showcased. These include the "Theme Exhibition" and the "Corporate Pavilions and Pop-ups," which reflect every year’s social issues and the latest design trends, the "DDP Design Launching Fair," where newly developed products that have emerged through the collaboration between small business owners and designers are showcased, the "Enterprise+Young Designer Brand Exhibition," which showcases new products and brands developed through collaborations between companies and young designers. Additionally, there are events such as the "Seoul Design Conference," where renowned domestic and international figures present future design trends, and the "Design Market," where citizens can enjoy and share design-related experiences.
Furthermore, the Seoul Design Foundation aims to further expand the "Seoul Design Spots" throughout the entire city of Seoul, with DDP as its central hub through "Seoul Design." By providing opportunities for experiencing K-design across Seoul, the foundation is committed to doing its best to transform Seoul into a global city and contribute to the vibrant design business, thereby fostering the growth of the design industry and economic activation through design.
